This was my first week back in college, meaning a lot of problems or things I couldn't do online should be resolved soon. On Monday I continued working on my 3 game reviews for Core Principles and managed to start my second one. In Programming I thought the lessons would help me more because its easier to ask questions but since we still just copied code into the online compiler I still had no idea what I was actually doing or why. I'm slightly worried for my programming skills because there is an exam coming soon which will have some programming questions so the best I can do is continue to work on Codecademy and try to take in as much as I can in lessons. To end Monday, I had VFX where me and my team gathered videos around the site to use for editing, the standards for our project have dropped quite a lot and we our now just using windows Photo where you can add little effects on videos so I'm also worried for this lesson at the end of the year. On Tuesday I had Art where I continued to work on my character silhouettes and used photoshop to outline the drawings I had done but I wasn't really happy with how they came out so I might have to work on them at home to get ahead. I also had animation where we used morph modifiers in 3DS Max which transforms an object by stretching it or twisting it for example. On Thursday I continued watching the substance painter tutorials in games dev but since it isn't on the college computers I will have to use it at home. In 3D modelling i was challenged to make a model without using a tutorial and I chose a wizards staff to do. I found it very difficult to start with and even after getting help and deciding what part to work on I kept making mistakes but it was a good learning experience and I will try to stick with it. However I don't want to work on it at home because I need all the help I can get and wouldn't know what to do next. I worked on this model during study skills too.
